This dark comedy was shot on the Canon 5D and edited in Final Cut. I worked with NCSA alumni Tiffany McMichael (director/writer) and Kat Murray-Satchell (DP/writer).

America's Best Happy Hours
A nine minute pilot presentation for a show aimed at the VH1 reality show demographic. I took inspiration from the show "3 Sheets" and added sound effects and playful cutting to make it fun, like a Happy Hour should be! I did the color correction myself in Final Cut, and it turned out pretty good considering the dark conditions of the restaurant.
Love by Sheena Player
I edited this music video by director Kristal Burch and cinematographer Katherine Murray-Satchel. The challenge was to make it sexy without kissing or explicit behavior. I used dissolves and super-imposition to "soak in" the beautiful, golden hour lighting and glowing performances that accompany this soulful love song. I used a lot of the candid material of the subjects playing around between takes, even if out of focus, creating the feel of home movies or memories where the details aren't as important as the spirit of togetherness.
Gapa Sapa Girl
If you are unfamiliar with Gossip Girl and the characters, this take-off probably won't ring an bells. I took footage from an Indian soap opera with characters similar to Gossip Girl, sometimes even dead ringers (Jenny Humphrey), and put subtitles in with typical Gossip Girl dialogue. This quickie was done in 2 days for business presentation.
Interview with Activision's Vice President
This webisode was made for a website that never launched. E3 is THE video game expo where companies showcase their new games and hardware for the press. This webisode is an example of spicing up a 1 camera interview with as much b-roll as possible to help get the speaker's point across and keep the viewer interested.
